Bulk Reporting

Updated by Stefenie Stockbridge

Users can leverage Bulk Reporting to create comprehensive reports spanning multiple Blueprint projects.

Generating reports from Dashboards requires loading the report within dashboards, which can be time-consuming. Additionally, Dashboard scopes are confined to individual projects. Therefore, if you've imported your bot estate across multiple Blueprint projects, utilizing Bulk Reporting becomes essential for getting stats from your entire bot estate.

Running a Bulk Report

  1. Select RPA Dashboards and Reports dropdown in the main header
  2. Select Bulk Reporting. This will open a wizard to guide you through the Bulk Reporting process.
  3. Select the View Type (Step 1 window). Select either Per Process View or Per Call Tree View. For more information on what Views do, see Selecting a Scope in Dashboards.
  4. Select the Reports (Step 2 window) needed.
    1. Some reports are only available on certain Views. In this step, select all reports that you want to generate. Reports can be filtered by the Dashboard in which they originate from by switching tabs at the top of the modal.
Estimator Reports will be viewable depending on the status of the Enable Estimator Dashboard toggle in Settings > RPA Management > Migrate - Dashboards.
  1. Select the Projects (Step 3 window) to include in the Bulk Report.
    1. If users selected "Per Call Tree View", they will have an additional checkbox at the top called "Include all Roots". A Root is a process that is not referenced by any other process. If you check this option, all Roots and their dependencies will be displayed as call trees. Leaving this option unchecked will only include those processes flagged as a "Main" process and their dependencies in the scope.
The number of selectable projects for Bulk Reporting is limited to 10.
  1. Click Create Jobs.
  2. A Job is scheduled to generate the report. Reports can be found and downloaded by clicking the hyperlink in the Job popup window or by navigating to Jobs in the main header and clicking on the Download icon () in the applicable row. For more information, see Jobs.
  3. For each report type, a separate job will be created and reports will be exported as .xlsx files within .zip files. Reports are consolidated across all selected projects except as outlined below.
    1. Blueprint will create separate Excel files per project for Process Stats Per Artifact > All Commands and the Big and Complex - All TODOs and Compiler Errors reports.
