The Assessment Report provides a comprehensive overview of a set of RPA automations including key metrics, applications being interacted with, custom actions being used, GenAI descriptions, and much more. The report is typically used to provide RPA estate information as a precursor to migrating the automations to Power Automate Desktop, although the information can be used to inform any transformation initiative.

This report draws information from two areas of the Blueprint Platform, Migrate and Analyze. For this reason the report can only be generated for automations imported into Migrate using the "Also import to Analyze" option. You can tell when automations were imported using this option as they will have cross-links showing (i.e. in Migrate a link from the Main process to the Analyze counterpart, and vice-versa).

Pre-Requisites

Optional Pre-requisites

Do these things before generating the Assessment Report to produce a more comprehensive report:

  • In Analyze, ensure desired Compliance Rules have been enabled and thresholds set BEFORE importing your RPA data

Mandatory Pre-requisites

These pre-requisites must be met before the Assessment Report feature will work. If they are not met then error messages will appear when attempting to generate the report.

  • RPA data must have been imported into Migrate and the import option "Also import to Analyze" must have been enabled
  • After all data has been imported, the estimation dashboard for the desired scope must be (re)calculated so that metrics are up to date
  • After all data has been imported, Rules for the selected scope must be generated

Generating the Assessment Report

Once the pre-requisites have been met, you can generate an Assessment Report in Migrate for the desired scope as follows:

  1. Select RPA Dashboards and Reports > Assessment Report
  2. Hit Continue when you see the reminder list of pre-requisites
  3. Choose the desired Scope and click OK
  4. If all pre-requisites have been met you will see a Job Sumitted message. Hit OK to dismiss the message, or here to monitor the job. If pre-requisites were not met you will see an error message identifying the missing pre-requisite.
  5. Once the job has completed, download your Assessment Report
